These trainings are designed for anyone seeking a solid foundation in order to use Photoshop to manipulate, modify, or optimize photographs and digital images. Taught by an Adobe Certified Instructor, who is also a working professional, you will learn not only an overview of Photoshop, but also valuable work-flow tips and tricks. Handouts are provided, and a certificate is given to each student on completion.

1 day Adobe Lightroom Essentials class (email to inquire about upcoming dates and locations).

This one day workshop is for Adobe Lightroom 2.0 users that want to master Lightroom to input, edit, and output their images. You will learn how to download and rename photos, where the process of tagging images with copyright or keywords can begin. During the course of the day we will concentrate on the Develop module where most of the magic happens. Color and black-and-white techniques, color correction, cropping, white balancing, local and graduated corrections (in version 2.0) will be discussed. Learn best practices for preparing your photographs for print, and for printing your photographs on an ink-jet printer or photo lab. All students will work on a computer with Lightroom and sample images, but students are welcome to bring their own laptop and/or photographs to work on.
